Manhood

Hi Guys,
Todays post is about my husband. Not many of you will know that he is 14 years my junior and after 10 wonderful years of being together… I still love and desire him. So I dedicate this to him.

Nick, this is for you. For all that you are, all that you have been and all that you will become. All my love H x

Manhood

Observing you as you undress.
And feeling your manly caress.
Touch your muscles as they flex.
As I whisper my requests.

Feel the grooves that define.
Follow curves and perfect lines.
Knowing your body is my shrine.
Elated knowing you are mine.

As you lay me on covered ground.
And your manhood I surround.
Reaching euphoria so profound.
My whole being you have crowned.

Ray of Sunshine

Good Evening All,
Late posting today… Apologies.
The following is about my children and those aching moments I find, just before collecting them. I do miss them so - when they are at school. See what you think.

Ray of Sunshine.

Rhythmically ticking.
Marking the moments.
Spacing the seconds.
Counting the time.

Watching and waiting.
Catching their essence.
Breaching the void.
While waiting in line.

Feeling excitement.
Bracing yourself.
Prepping the area.
You they define.

Dash for the gates.
Stand in the mix.
Look for the faces.
With them you entwine.

Treasure the cuddles.
Worship the children.
Relish the memories.
Those “Rays of sunshine.”

TV Addict

Hello, hello, hello :)
The following poem I wrote this morning. There are a few of my friends who like their soaps and I too love a good suspense or documentary. However, TV is often mind numbingly intrusive in our lives and we allow it! So I wrote this poem to remind myself, to get up, get out and do something with the ones I love.

TV Addict

Zombie like as it blares.
We sit, we stare at this square.

No real joy we find within.
This empty box with plastic skin.

Your viewing times a slippery slope.
Enthralled in adverts, films and soaps.

This appliance isn't a sitter for free.
Watching our children, for you and me.

No one can tell you as you watch.
That there's a life outside this plastic box.

A whole life you cannot place on pause.
As you waste precious time, there’s a clause!

Your life outside can’t be flicked on with a switch.
Go out... Live that life and 'STOP' being a TV addict.

Racist

Good Afternoon All,
Today's poem is one very close to my heart. Racism is alive and well. Here I share my opinion on this.

Racist

Sneering comments.
Bitterly barked
Spiteful actions.
Racist remarks.

Hatred rooted.
Venomously hissed.
Cruel intentions.
Racism exits.

Blinkered bigot.
Always indignant.
Blank oppression.
Racist Militant.

Purge repression.
Prejudice relent.
Murder constraint.
Racism prevent.

Vengeance

Hello and welcome,
Today's poem is about something we all will, have or are struggling with. I had a very vengeful period, after separating from an ex. He was and is confidence trickster and saw me coming a mile away. I was so vengefully hateful towards him.  That it nearly consumed me, but with clarity of mind I realised it was myself with whom I was angry. Still those feeling were very real at the time and I wrote this to express them. Some 9 years ago now… How time passes!

Vengeance

In the dark recess’s of my mind.
Deep in the corners.
You can’t find.

Small incantations fizzle and pop.
Around in my head.
A whistle stop.

No fond memories for you I keep.
Clouded thoughts.
Running deep.

This silent vengeance held inside.
Consuming me.
Broken pride.

These hateful dashes to consume.
Envelope me.
They entomb.

Releasing this hate, my magic key.
Forgetting you.
Breaking free.

Rugby's Pride

Hello and welcome,
Today's poem is about rugby. I love it, the power, the pride, the loyalty. I think it is an amazing game and truly believe that rugby players are some of our modern day gladiators. I know that some countries will not know what I am talking about, but I still love this poem and all it encompasses.

Rugby’s Pride

The small and the mighty.
The thick and the thin.
The warm up, the tension.
And then it begins.

One kick of the ball.
The pack then descends.
The fast and the furious.
These giants of men.

Where men fear men.
The battle ensues.
The small and the mighty.
All battered and bruised.

Modern day gladiators.
The power they bring.
They pound always onwards.
As they fly up the wing.

Sweat mixed with sweat.
Bowed down to the mud.
Mud mixed with sweat.
And sweat mixed with blood.

Power houses of passion.
Pound over the line.
Heaving and shoving.
These athletes so fine.

They brawl in the maul.
The battle scream cried.
A game almost won.
Their eyes burn with pride.

After Sex

Good day to you,
I penned the following poem, as I wanted to try to encapsulate that moment felt after making love.
See what you think...

After Sex

Engulfed in your arms.
Then the drift of dreams.
Away from my pant, my moans and my screams.

Pleasure filled dances.
My soul and my mind.
Staggered moments within that pleasure sublime.

And in your slumber.
That easiness of peace.
As we lay here still coupled, embracing that release.
