My Mother's Crown
Each hat I wear
Tis my crown
To draw me tall
Or weigh me down
Each one important
Invisible to see
They decide my roles
But don’t depict me
Some bring sadness
Some care and light
Some cause chaos
For my daily fight
But all are worn
With tiresome pride
On his “Mothers” head
On which they hide.
